Let's suppose that you want to show where cowslips grow in Sweden. Or which areas on the West Bank that the Palestinians contol. Or how to find a certain museum in the city of Norrköping. Or how Poland was divided in the 18th century.

All this is possible to tell in words, but surely it is easier with a map!

If you want to show the size of the working class of Sweden as percentage of the whole population during the last century or the distribution of Swedens export to different countries, this can be made in tabular form, but a diagram often offers a better outline.

I make maps, diagrams and some more. I don't call myself a map-drawer, but rather an illustrator with maps as my specialty. I have been working full time with this for about twenty years. The bulk of my work is made up by maps and diagrams in text-books and other special literature. But you can also find my maps in novels, magazines and exhibitions.

Originally I drew my maps with Indian ink on a semi-transparent foil, but in 1993 I bought my first Macintosh. I still use a Macintosh with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop as my most important tools.

Please browse through the examples of my work and feel free to contact me so that we may discuss your need of maps, diagrams and other illustrations.
